Who is Vinny Dingle’s dad in Emmerdale, and who is his mum after Mandy and Tina twist?

Emmerdale’s Tina Dingle appeared to drop quite a confession about Vinny Dingle on the ITV soap on Monday night.
During a row between Tina and Mandy Dingle, Vinny was mentioned and there appeared to be a twist involving his parentage. In the past it’s been revealed that Mandy was Vinny’s stepmother after being in a relationship with his father.
Mandy became his guardian and he’s always called her mum, while he knows Mandy is not his biological mother. Paul Ashdale was introduced as Vinny’s father a few years back, with him being killed off in 2021.
In a sad storyline we learned Paul was abusive towards Vinny and he nearly killed him. But is Paul really Vinny’s father, and is Paul the ex of Tina?
A twist on Monday night saw Tina heavily suggest she was Vinny’s real mother. During a row with her cousin Mandy, she told her she was back for her son as well as the house after her father Zak Dingle’s death.
It was clear they were hiding something before Mandy sobbed, as Tina made everything clear. She was heard commenting about Vinny Dingle and how he “liked her”, which left Mandy nervous. She then dropped hints that she had lost time with Vinny before making the son comment.
Tina told Mandy who was crying: “I’ve come for everything that is mine. Vinny is such a sweet boy, it makes me sad thinking about everything I have missed out on.”
Mandy screamed at her reminding her it’s her own fault this happened. But as Tina charged at her, she made it clear she wanted Zak’s house and more – before revealing she had a son.
She bellowed: “It doesn’t matter. What’s mine is mine. My house, my son.” So with it seeming that Tina is Vinny’s real mother, what happened and why did she leave?
More importantly, is Paul the real father of Vinny or is someone else the dad? As far as we are aware Paul is Vinny’s father, and that would mean he had a romance with Tina.
So is this how Paul and Mandy met? It was always said that Mandy got with Paul after Vinny was born and moved in with them, raising Vinny as her own.
Paul left one day and never returned with Mandy becoming Vinny’s guardian. So it does seem he is Vinny’s real father, but perhaps there’s another bombshell on the way!
