Some Emmerdale viewers think they have worked out a dark new plot on the way on the ITV soap, amid news of a character being killed off.

With one character set to die and others teased to be facing peril later this year, some fans think one resident will soon kill again. New spoilers tease heartbreak on the way for Ella Forster, as her partner Liam Cavanagh admits he’s in love with somebody else.

Spoilers tease he might be about to dump Ella after a rocky year for the pair, as he shares a moment with former flame Chas Dingle. But could more heartbreak push Ella to the edge, and lead to her lashing out?

Some fans can’t help but think Ella will become jealous of Liam and Chas if the pair do get together amid their split. With another of Liam’s exes Leyla Harding reportedly being killed off, could Ella be behind this?

With peril ahead at Christmas, will Ella take violent action towards Liam or Chas over their possible romance? Viewers are convinced this could be on the cards, and that Ella will end up killing again.

Next week on the ITV soap, Liam awkwardly confesses his feelings for Chas and she reciprocates. The on/off pair end up kissing, and Liam realises he must end things with Ella.

As Liam prepares to break up with her, will it go to plan? Will she find out about Chas and their kiss before Liam can tell her anything?

Ella has put her past behind her, but fans can’t help but question why Ella would stay on the show if Liam dumps her. So might a new killer storyline be heading our way?

Taking to social media, one viewer shared a theory that read: “I think she will turn murderous again through jealousy of Liam and Chas. After all she has killed in a jealous rage before, I think she will try to again.”

As others suggested there had to be a reason for the character to stick around, another fan wrote: “If Liam and Chas get together again, Ella may return to her murdering ways (wasn’t it jealousy that set her off when she was a child?)” A further comment read: “She’s there for the next story.” Another wrote: “I think her and Ella will clash over Liam and they’ll fight and Leyla will die.” We’ll just have to wait and see!
