EastEnders icon Kathy Beale (Gillian Taylforth) may have just broken up a relationship after kissing one of her neighbours.
Kathy and Harvey Monroe (Ross Boatman) have been getting closer over the past few weeks, but the friendship turned into something more in tonight’s episode when Kathy kissed him.
It had been a terrible day for both of them, with Kathy fearing she may be set to go to prison, and Harvey having fallen out with Jean Slater (Gillian Wright).
Kathy faced drama with The Six after accidentally confessing the truth about the events of Christmas Day to Nish Panesar (Navin Chowdhry).
Meanwhile, Harvey’s plans for a romantic dinner with Jean were derailed when Kat Slater (Jessie Wallace) discovered that Jean had called social services about Tommy.
An argument ensued among the family, with Kat insisting that Jean was dead to her.
Jean later took her frustration out on Harvey, leading him to storm out and pay Kathy a visit instead.
Though at first Kathy insisted she wasn’t in the mood, she eventually relented, and the pair got chatting.
As Kathy admitted that she was worried her time was up, Harvey comforted her, before Kathy leaned in for a kiss.
As they pulled apart, Harvey left abruptly, leaving Kathy kicking herself.
Elsewhere, Jean got chatting to Kojo Asare (Dayo Koleosho) where she decided that she needed to make things up with Harvey.
Will he tell her about his kiss with Kathy, or keep quiet?
