Culprit ‘confirmed’ after evil Tom is violently attacked in Emmerdale
Tom King (James Chase) is found bloodied and bruised in Emmerdale next week, and his uncle Jimmy (Nick Miles) reckons he knows who is responsible.
In recent weeks, Tom has convinced himself there’s no way he’s going to prison for abusing and controlling Belle Dingle (Eden Taylor-Draper).
Once he realised he needed to get his hands on a tablet that proved he had been watching Belle via hidden cameras, Tom manipulated Isaac (Bobby Dunsmuir) and Carl (Charlie Munro Joyce), got the device back and smashed it to pieces.
He was then confronted by a troubled Belle and used this to his advantage, later reporting her to the police for breaking bail conditions.
In upcoming episodes, Laurel Thomas (Charlotte Bellamy) finds Tom covered in blood and struggling outside the church. He claims to have been attacked, but suspiciously refuses to go to A&E or report the assault to the police.
When Jimmy finds out, he feels concerned for his nephew’s safety and any previous doubts of Tom quickly vanish away.
Turning his attention to Sam Dingle (James Hooton) a little later, Jimmy accuses him of attacking Tom – but was he responsible?
The next evening, it’s Bonfire Night and Tom is sickened to realise that the ‘Guy’ being thrown on the fire looks remarkably like him.
As the villagers watch the dummy burn, each Dingle family member claim to be responsible for making the Guy.
Feeling intimated and wound up, Tom loses his cool and takes it out on girlfriend Amelia Spencer (Daisy Campbell).
Will the Dingles make the dummy to distract Tom from finding out who attacked him?
Given he is reluctant to go to A&E, perhaps Tom knows more about the violence than he’s letting on?
