Coronation Street lines up more twists next week, with an unexpected outcome on the cards (Picture: ITV)

Next week, Coronation Street serves up another heightened dose of drama – as confirmed in my spoiler videos below – as we edge closer to finding out who really killed Joel Deering (Calum Lill)!

The ITV soap continues to deliver more twists and turns in the murder case, with several residents being lined up as suspect. Next week, the most unlikely person is brought in for questioning by Kit Green (Jacob Roberts).

As always, Metro is right across the case, with our resident soap detective piecing together all the evidence.

We’re also dealt a fresh update in Billy Mayhew’s (Daniel Brocklebank) grief, as he continues to battle his demons in the wake of husband Paul’s (Peter Ash) death.

Things take a dark turn when he hits the bottle and exposes some truths…

Elsewhere, Tim Metcalfe (Joe Duttine) comes back into the fold as an unlikely mentor for one of the street’s troubled youngsters.

The only problem is, he’s got to make sure his domineering wife Sally (Sally Dynevor) doesn’t find out!

For a first look at all of the above I’ve got you covered, with three new video clips of next week’s cobbles drama.

Monday, November 4

We honestly didn’t think we’d see this coming, but with evidence stacking against her, DS Lisa Swain (Vicky Myers) is confirmed as the next suspect to have murdered Joel.

Those bruises on her body have to have come from somewhere…

Where exactly was she on the night he died?

In the clip, we see Lisa fearful as Kit tows a hard line with his colleague and questions her about a threatening text message she drafted, but didn’t send to Joel, shortly before his death.

It’s a strange feeling for her to be on the other side of table!

Wednesday, November 6

Paul’s nearest and dearest gather in the Rovers to watch part of his ashes be released into space.

It was mum Bernie’s (Jane Hazlegrove) wish that he should be sent off into the stars due to his astrological name (Apollo) and her belief that he wouldn’t like something more traditional.

She compromised with Billy that he could keep another half.

As they’re watching the live stream footage, the screen goes blank. A drunken Billy stumbles in and reveals that his part of Paul’s ashes have been stolen, leaving everyone aghast.

To make matters worse, he declares that in the hours following Paul’s funeral, he made a pass at ex-boyfriend Todd Grimshaw (Gareth Pierce).

How will Bernie feel?

Friday, November 8

Teen Mason Radcliffe (Luca Toolan) has had a worrying few weeks after his mentor Stu Carpenter (Bill Fellows) left for pastures new in Germany.

After Sally and Tim find spilled food in their kitchen, they become convinced that they have a mouse problem and head to the shed to investigate.

There they find a bag, and realise that someone must be sleeping in there. Later caught red handed trying to grab the rucksack, Mason’s forced to explain to Tim that he’s homeless.

In the clip, Tim agrees that the youngster can stay the night on his sofa – as long as Sally doesn’t find out!

We’re sure she’d be less than impressed.
