Coronation Street confirms death outcome as Sally and Tim’s car is found
It’s a momentous week in Coronation Street next week with the return of a murderer – and the unmasking of another!
And the police are also involved with Sally and Tim Metcalfe (Sally Dynevor and Joe Dutting) – another busy week for the Weatherfield plod!
At long last, fans will discover who really killed Joel Deering (Calum Lill). Dee-Dee Bailey (Channique Sterling-Brown) has confessed, but there’s more to this than meets the eye, as revelatory flashbacks reveal.
Meanwhile, David Platt (Jack P Shepherd) is hiding secrets from wife Shona (Julia Goulding) as he visits her murdering son Clayton Hibbs (Callum Harrison) in prison.
But when she gets the news that Clayton has been rushed to hospital, how much guilt does David bear?
Finally, Tim is forced to confront Mason’s mates – and Sally wants payback after a theft, promptly ringing the police.

Unable to live with the guilt, Dee-Dee heads to the station, telling Kit that the anonymous phone call he received was from her after she hit Joel with a crowbar.
As she claims it was self defence and Joel was alive when she left him, Kit’s met with another shock piece of evidence, will Dee-Dee be arrested or is someone else in the frame?
Coming clean – but is Dee-Dee really to blame? (Picture: ITV)
Upset over the loss of her mother’s ring, Sally rounds on Tim for allowing Mason into their home.
Spotting Mason with his brothers, Tim strides over and confronts them. Matty and Logan laugh in his face but Tim senses Mason’s scared.
Tim answers a knock at the door from Mason. Sally grabs him and calls the police.
