Emmerdale character gets their comeuppance as Cain Dingle takes unexpected and final revenge
Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) took extreme action in Emmerdale as he made it his mission to rid the village of Tina (Samantha Power), whose presence has caused nothing but heartache for his grieving family.
Tina, as fans know rocked up in the village for Zak’s (Steve Halliwell) funeral and it wasn’t long before she showed her true colours, trying to get her hands on a share of Wishing Well.
The Dingles stood firm in their decision to make sure she got nowhere near the property but Tina took things to the next level, blackmailing Mandy (Lisa Riley) into getting her Zak’s will – otherwise she would reveal the truth about Vinny’s (Bradley Johnson) parentage.
Vinny, it turns out, is Tina’s biological son.
Mandy called her bluff, believing that Tina wouldn’t go through with her threat but, to her shock, she did just that, with Mandy left horrified as Vinny disowned her.
Tina continued to wind the Dingles up in the aftermath of the revelations and on Tuesday (November 12) Cain ultimately got involved, determined to rid the village of her once and for all.
With Vinny having successfully got his hands on Zak’s will, there was no real reason for Tina to stick around and, in a bid to see that they weren’t messing around, Cain arrived at Wishing Well with a canister, dousing Tina’s caravan in gasoline.
Tina didn’t believe he’d go through with it but this is Cain Dingle we’re talking about and, in shocking scenes, he set the caravan alight.
The patriarch strolled away from the caravan with a smile on his face as did Mandy, delighted to see her nemesis get her comeuppance for what she did to her and Vinny.
The question is: will Tina do as she’s told and leave? Or will her revelation that she has more children prompt Vinny into asking her to stay?
