Kojo Asare (Dayo Koleosho) finds himself in grave danger in EastEnders next week – and it’s as a result of Cindy Beale’s (Michelle Collins) actions.
Things quickly turn tense when she attempts to cover up her affair with former step-son Junior Knight (Micah Balfour).
The pair have been secretly meeting up for months – narrowly avoiding being caught by a number of locals, including her partner Ian (Adam Woodyatt) and his son Bobby (Clay Milner Russell), during that time.
There was even a tense moment when Junior’s dad George (Colin Salmon) almost walked in on them in bed together, but they managed to squirm their way out of what would be an incredibly awkward situation.
In upcoming scenes, Cindy plays a huge part in George’s wedding to Elaine Peacock (Harriet Thorpe).

Ahead of their big day, the family are gathered to prepare for the celebrations when Elaine pops out to speak with her. She reveals that she wants to set a honey trap for George to be lured into to test whether she can trust him.
She begins to take a trip down memory lane and leans in for a kiss – but then wants to reclaim her power and reveals all about Elaine’s scheming.
The next day, things are tense at The Queen Vic after George has confronted his wife-to-be about Cindy’s meddling. It’s still unclear whether they’ll actually get to walk down the aisle…
Soon, the situation escalates when Kojo spots Junior and Cindy together. In an act of desperation, she follows him through the Square but when a struggle breaks out, the repercussions have serious consequences!

What has Cindy done to Kojo?
Lauren Branning (Jacqueline Jossa) stumbles across the incident, and finds Cindy cowering in fear. She protests her innocence as the emergency services are called, and the two women argue.
As Kojo is carted off in the back of an ambulance, they rush to The Vic to alert George about his brother.

The Knight clan race over to the hospital, whilst Cindy tries to lie about her whereabouts to Ian – which is clocked by Lauren.
Later, she tells her that she’d onto her and will make it her mission to uncover whatever she is hiding.
Dread sets in, and as the week goes on, Cindy evades calls from both Lauren and Junior. Peter (Thomas Law) clocks that there’s something wrong with Lauren, and grows suspicious when she’s reluctant to take Louie to school.
Cindy is persistent that she played no part in Kojo’s accident, and heads to the hospital to speak with Junior.
Is this the end of their affair – and will Kojo survive?
