Pregnant Lauren Branning (Jacqueline Jossa) continues to hide the true extent of her pain struggle in EastEnders next week.
The character has been finding it increasingly hard to cope with her pain following her injuries in the crowd crush at Peggy’s back in September.
To complicate matters further, last week she learned she is pregnant.
Her boyfriend Peter Beale (Thomas Law) also left her less than impressed with his reaction to the news.
Things get even worse for the expectant mum next week, as her relationship continues to deteriorate, before she finds herself dragged into Peter’s mum Cindy Beale’s (Michelle Collins) web of lies.
The start of the week sees Lauren and Peter have another huge blow up, before she confides in cousin Penny Branning (Kitty Castledine) about her secret plight.
When the couple have further tense moments, she blames her pain on morning sickness, before Peter puts his foot in it again at McKlunky’s.
However, Lauren later finds herself at war with Cindy, after Kojo Asare (Dayo Koleosho) spots her and lover Junior Knight (Micah Balfour) together.
A struggle between Cindy and Kojo leaves him in a serious condition, before Lauren arrives and sees what’s happened, and the women share crossed words.
After Kojo is taken to hospital, Cindy desperately attempts to cover her tracks, much to Lauren’s horror, who then swears to make it her mission to find out what she has been hiding…
But with pregnant Lauren already struggling, will it all become too much for her?
