Will Taylor’s (Dean Andrews) vicious plan to destroy Kim Tate (Claire King) is in full swing, and it’s about to take on another layer of complexity in Emmerdale.

It was almost a dead cert that these two were going to ruin each other in court. But they did a completely unexpected U-Turn, prompted by Kim thinking she’d accidentally had her husband murdered.

This made her realise she didn’t actually want him out of her life at all and after confessing their feelings, they decided to call the divorce off.

But there was a twist – it was then revealed that Will has been secretly working with Peter to bring Kim down, and though Will might want to give his marriage another go, Peter is continuing to blackmail him into doing his bidding.

So now Will is unwilling trying to destroy his wife. As part of the plot, Will proposed they renew their vows at Christmas, and Kim is over the moon. It feels a bit weird though when Will says he doesn’t want anyone else there.

For Kim, the renewal is a momentous occasion, one at which she cannot imagine not having Dawn. To right this wrong, Kim goes behind Will’s back and invites his daughter.

Dawn is thrilled at the invitation and buoyed by her utter joy, Kim invites her to move back to Home Farm. None of this is part of Will’s dastardly plan.

Dawn (Olivia Bromley) and Billy (Jay Kontzle) get more good news when they learn Evan may well be home in time for Christmas. But there’s a snag – Billy will not move into Home Farm.

Dawn is torn, she wants the best for her kids. Will, meanwhile, is not thrilled to learn that not only is Dawn et al coming to the renewal, they could well be lodgers once again.

The decision for Dawn and Billy is forced when Jai (Chris Bisson)– who is being a right little oik these days – asks them to leave Holdgate with immediate effect.

Billy still refuses to move to Home Farm, but with no other choice, Dawn takes her things and turns up on the doorstep.

Will is horrified to find Dawn with her packed bags and does his best to turn her away. Will Dawn be the one to uncover her dad’s awful plot?
