Abi Webster (Sally Carman) was left completely terrified in recent Coronation Street scenes as she was plagued by visions of dead Mason Radcliffe (Luca Toolan).

The mechanic found herself in the centre of an horrific situation earlier this week when she found Mason bleeding from a stab wound at the precinct.

After calling an ambulance and trying her best to keep him calm and stem the flow of blood, Abi was devastated to learn that he had succumbed to his injuries.

Mason’s loss has affected Abi badly, and reminded her of the death of her own son, Seb Franklin, who was murdered in a hate crime attack in 2021.

In last night’s episode, Abi was beside herself when she learnt that the knife used to stab Mason had belonged to Dylan Wilson (Liam McCheyne).

She was quick to give him a hard time, which Dylan accepted, agreeing that he deserved to be punished for bringing the knife into the fight.

However, their conversation was derailed when Abi noticed that son Alfie was missing, and panic ensued.

Thankfully, he was in the safe care of Toyah Battersby (Georgia Taylor), though, under the stress, Abi didn’t see it that way.

She launched into Toyah with a tirade of abuse, accusing her of taking Alfie and warning her to stay away from her son.

Confused and concerned, Toyah later called Kevin Webster (Michael Le Vell) to check in on Abi – something that didn’t go down well with her.

She argued that Toyah was deliberately trying to make her out to be an unfit mother, and when Kev pointed out that she seemed genuinely worried, Abi insisted that she was fine.
However, it later became clear that that wasn’t true, when she went for a walk and ended up at Seb’s memorial garden.

There, she was left inconsolable when she came face to face with Mason, who was still clutching the heather he had picked from the garden.

With Abi hallucinating, is her mental health set to take a worrying turn?
