Drunk Bethany demands answers as Daisy reveals big secret in Coronation Street spoiler video
Bethany Platt (Lucy Fallon) is feeling jealous in Coronation Street soon as she spots a suspicious chat happening between boyfriend Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard) and Daisy Midgeley (Charlotte Jordan).
Despite Bethany being with Daniel, she has never really dealt with her feelings towards ex Daisy. Seeing Daisy most days and knowing she’s still good friends with Daniel fuels Bethany’s insecurities, though she often tries to hide them as best she can.
In upcoming episodes, it’s Bertie’s birthday and Daisy has been invited to his party.
The birthday boy is holding court by sitting on her knee throughout the proceedings – much to Bethany’s annoyance.
From this vantage point he spots Cassie (Claire Sweeney) putting the antihistamine in Ken’s (William Roache) tea. He asks her what she’s doing and she tells him it’s a secret and he mustn’t tell anyone.
He immediately tells his best friend Daisy, who is obviously disturbed by what she hears.
In this new video, we see the moment Daisy expresses her concerns with Daniel. They are sat on the stairs and Daniel wonders if Bertie has got muddled with what he told Daisy.
Daisy points out that it’s strange Cassie asked Bertie to keep a secret for her. Unfortunately, the conversation and Daniel’s worries don’t develop because Bethany arrives, who is drunk.
She’s clearly annoyed Daniel and Daisy were having a private conversation, even more so when Daniel doesn’t explain what they were talking about immediately.
This will lead Bethany to get steadily more and more drunk as she hits the Prosecco, until she can barely stand up. When Daisy goes to help her, Bethany abruptly shrugs her off and Daisy overbalances and has a nasty fall.
Although not many people know, Daisy is pregnant and she’s worried that the fall might have hurt the baby so she makes an excuse to go to A&E.
These developments come ahead of Lucy Fallon and Charlotte Jordan’s exits from the soap as Bethany and Daisy. While Lucy is only going on maternity leave, Charlotte is saying goodbye to the soap after four years.
Will their complicated relationships with Daniel impact their reasons for leaving?
