Coronation Street star Harry Lowbridge has encouraged those struggling with their mental health to reach out to someone.

The actor, who portrays Logan Radcliffe on the ITV soap, responded to a fan question over whether it’s ‘ok to not be ok’, opening up about his own mental health struggles’.

‘Yes’, he said in response to the question. ‘I struggle on the daily with my mental health’.

‘Reach out to someone, whether it be family, friends or professionals. There’s always someone who will listen.’

Harry has been at the centre of a big storyline this month on Coronation Street with Logan and his brother Matty having attacked sibling Mason (Luca Toolan), who was stabbed.

The teen was left bleeding out on the floor, with Abi Webster (Sally Carman-Duttine) doing everything she could to save him.

An ambulance was delayed in getting to the scene after receiving a 999 hoax call, with paramedic Ash subsequently doing all she could to save Mason.

But in heartbreaking scenes, Mason was declared dead. Matty was arrested by police but Logan remains at large.

Mason star Luca previously explained that he found out Mason would be killed off in the harrowing plot back in February/March last year, and initially felt ‘a mixture of emotions’.

He said: ‘I was sad that Mason was going to die and that means I would be leaving, but equally I was really excited and honoured to be part of this storyline because it’s an incredibly important issue that needs to be tackled.

‘I feel so privileged to have had this opportunity to start my professional career at Coronation Street and what a great time I’ve had.’
