Rob makes massive declaration to disbelieving Carla in Coronation Street spoiler video
A new Coronation Street spoiler video reveals the moment Carla Connor (Alison King) comes face to face with her estranged, imprisoned brother Rob Donovan (Marc Baylis).
The Corrie villain returned to the ITV soap last week, when his son Bobby Crawford (Jack Carroll) visited him behind bars.
Rob was jailed back in 2014 for the murder of Tina McIntyre (Michelle Keegan), who he struck around the head with a pipe after pushing her from the builder’s yard balcony.
Bobby visited his dad in the hope would agree to be a kidney donor for Carla, who has sustained damage after being diagnosed with sepsis.
Earlier this week, Ryan Connor (Ryan Prescott) insisted that Carla wouldn’t accept an organ transplant from her twisted brother, but Bobby wasn’t convinced.
Knowing it could be a case of life or death, he headed back to Highfield Prison and was pleased to hear that Rob had found religion and had turned over a new leaf.
Suddenly, Matty Radcliffe (Seamus McGoff) pulled out a knife and staged a hostage situation in the visitors room, threatening Bobby.
Rob leapt to his son’s defence, but it later transpired that the whole act was an elaborate hoax to convince him that he was a changed man.
In a new spoiler video, which is taken from tomorrow’s instalment of the cobbles-based soap, Rob and Carla are reunited.
Carla is less than thrilled, and remarks that he annoyingly looks better than she does – and he’s been at His Majesty’s pleasure for almost 11 years!
She’s in disbelief that he’s found God, with Rob backing up his story.
He then drops the bombshell that he does indeed want to help her live, and is prepared to give up a kidney.
What is his real game?
