Coronation Street star Lucy Fallon welcomes second baby in adorable post
Congratulations are in order for Coronation Street star Lucy Fallon, after she announced the birth of her second baby.
The 29-year-old actress revealed she and her boyfriend, footballer Ryan Ledson, were expecting their second child together in August, more than a year after welcoming son Sonny Jude.
Lucy, best known as Bethany Platt, has now welcomed the fourth member of their family into the world, taking to Instagram to share the happy news with her 589,000 followers.
Alongside a sweet picture of the newborn wearing a ‘little sister’ outfit, Lucy wrote: ‘our teeny angel girl is here.’
She confirmed her daughter was born on Sunday, and was showered in congratulatory messages from fans and friends alike.
‘Ahhh congrats! Xxxx,’ Fleur East said, while Strictly star Ellie Leach wrote: ‘yayyyyuu so beautiful 💖 congratulations xxxxx.’
Her Corrie co-star Jane Danson added: ‘Congratulations ❤️❤️❤️ she is beautiful . Enjoy this special time x.’
The news of Lucy’s pregnancy last year had fans wondering whether she’d be returning as Bethany on the cobbles, which she quickly confirmed.
‘Lots of Corrie related q’s – I won’t be away for tooo long and I am returning after I pop the baby out,’ she wrote after sharing a mirror selfie on set.
Lucy announced her pregnancy last year with a sweet video, showing her and Ryan reading to their son before she unveiled her baby bump.
The clip also showed Sonny seeing scan pictures, and Lucy holding a pregnancy test.
