There looks to be more worrying scenes ahead for Coronation Street’s Ken Barlow after fans spotted a concerning detail on set.
A TikTok video has suggested his house could be the target of an attack in a forthcoming storyline.
A clip taken on the show’s front lot at its studios in Salford Quays in Manchester show the front door of No.1 Coronation Street boarded up, with the entrance to the property covered with plywood.
Metro has contacted Coronation Street for comment.
The good news is, however, that whatever happens in the plot, Corrie legend Ken is going nowhere.
It was recently revealed actor William Roache, 92, has signed a new year-long contract to stick with the ITV soap.
William has been with Corrie continuously since the first episode aired in 1960.
According to The Mirror, he signed a new deal along with fellow long-running stars Sally Dynevor and Michael Le Vell, who will also continue to play their characters Sally Metcalfe and Kevin Webster for at least another year.
Ken is currently at the centre of a drugging plot, which has seen his friend and carer Cassie Plummer (Claire Sweeney) try to hold on to her job by making his health appear worse than it is.
She was recently caught out after Bertie Osbourne (Rufus Morgan-Smith) caught her slipping antihistamines into Ken’s drink, telling father Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard) about what he saw.
However, when he confronted Cassie about it, she denied all knowledge, claiming all she added were sweeteners – but Daniel did not believe her.
When Daniel shared his suspicions with Adam Barlow (Sam Robertson), he admitted that he can’t say anything as Cassie knows that he might be the father of Daisy Midgeley’s (Charlotte Jordan) baby, and is now using the knowledge to blackmail him.
