Coronation Street star celebrates huge milestone with real life twin

Coronation Street star Liam McCheyne wished twin brother and ‘right hand man’ Connor a happy 18th as they mark the milestone birthday together.

The actor, who plays Dylan Wilson in the ITV soap, took to social media on the special day with an emotive message to celebrate ‘chapter 18’.

‘Dare I say it we are adults now!,’ he started, sharing a number of snaps with his twin brother Connor, who is the spitting image of him.

‘So, a very happy birthday to my right-hand man @connormccheyne both making our marks in our own ways.

‘Here’s to adulthood. Can’t wait to see what’s in store.’

Liam’s fellow cast members were quick to comment, with Betsy Swain star Sydney Martin writing: ’18!!! happy birthday sweet boys.’

Vicky Myers, who plays DS Lisa Swain, added: ‘Happy 18th Birthday! Hope you both have a fantastic day xx,.

Sally Metcalfe legend Sally Dynevor wrote: ‘Happy Birthday boys’.

Liam made is cobbles debut back in 2011, portraying Dylan – son of longtime character Sean Tully (Antony Cotton) . At the time, he shared the part with Connor.

When the character was brought back to Weatherfield in 2022, Last Tango In Halifax star Liam reprised the role on his own.

Dylan is currently at the centre of a big storyline, having been charged for being in possession of a knife after friend Mason Radcliffe (Luca Toolan) was stabbed.
