Love declared between split Coronation Street couple but it’s based on a shocking lie
Daisy Midgeley (Charlotte Jordan) is thrown by Daniel Osbourne’s (Rob Mallard) declaration of love in Coronation Street next week.
The pair were previously engaged, but the relationship turned sour when he discovered her fling with Ryan Connor (Ryan Prescott) in the aftermath of a horrifying acid attack.
Despite subsequently having a relationship with Ryan, Daisy realised she still loved Daniel.
He’d moved on however, and in the moments before she discovered she was pregnant, he proposed to new girlfriend Bethany Platt (Lucy Fallon).
After falling pregnant, she became torn as to whether Daniel or Kit Green (Jacob Roberts) was the baby’s father.
She underwent a DNA test, but chose not to reveal the results – not even to her step-mum Jenny (Sally Ann Matthews).

Daniel tells Daisy he’s the happiest man in the world because Jenny told him that the child is his.
As a new spoiler video shows, Jenny has taken it upon herself to tell Daniel the happy news, despite not knowing the truth herself.
He bursts into the backroom of the Rovers and tells her he still loves her, and always will.
His engagement to Bethany is over now that she’s moved to London, and is prepared to start a new chapter of his life with his ex-fiancée.
Daisy is stunned by the revelation and assured him that she feels the same, but before she has the opportunity to explain herself, he interjects.
Daniel pours his heart out, telling her that although they’ve been through a lot, the thought of completing his family with her – and eventually growing old – makes him ‘very, very happy.’
As he continues to tell Daisy that he’s ‘obsessed’ with her, she finds it hard to put up a fight and they eventually kiss.
She tries to give her side of the story again when Daniel lovingly says he can’t face a future without her.

There’s one big issue though – she has fears of going to prison after stealing money from Carla Connor (Alison King) to buy the pub.
With the pressure mounting to stump up the cash, she feels that there is no moving forward from this. She has to face the consequences.
There could be a last minute lifeline – as Daniel goes on to tell her he will fix the situation so that they can be a family.
As they kiss again, Daisy looks guilt-ridden.
Is she being entirely truthful?
