Coronation Street killer Tracy takes life-ruining revenge on Cassie
With Coronation Street’s Ken Barlow (William Roache) having decided not to press charges against Cassie Plummer (Claire Sweeney), a vengeful Tracy Barlow (Kate Ford) takes matters into her own hands next week.
Fans of the ITV soap recently saw Ken clock onto the fact Cassie had been drugging him in order to keep him dependent on her.
He was later left fighting for his life after suffering a heart attack in the wake of his realisation, with the police later arriving to question Cassie just as she was about to skip town.
But amid his recovery, Ken had a change of heart about Cassie facing justice, which enraged his daughter Tracy.
She is still filled with anger next week when her dad voices the fact that he misses Cassie despite everything she has done, and tears a strip off Craig Tinker (Colson Smith) for failing to arrest her.
Tracy is then seen cutting a deal with a dodgy bloke, and it becomes clear she has revenge in mind.
Summoning Cassie to No.1, Tracy serves lunch and suggests they thrash out their differences.

But Cassie is then stunned when Tracy hands the former addict a bag of drugs and urges her to get stuck in.
With son Tyrone Dobbs (Alan Halsall) and love interest Steve McDonald (Simon Gregson) having washed their hands of Cassie, she is already at rock bottom and is sorely tempted by the drugs – will she be able to resist?
‘There’s a moment of, “Well I might as well just do it. I’ve got nothing else,”’ reveals actress Claire Sweeney, who plays Cassie. ‘It’s just a quick escape route if she takes those drugs.
‘But there’s a moment of “Tracy has completely won,” and Cassie doesn’t want that. She wants to keep her dignity, she wants to stay in control.’

Speaking about the latest twist in her storyline, Claire added: ‘It’s made for some great scenes for us both, for Cassie and Tracy. I love that.
‘The caring relationship with Ken, the lust for Steve McDonald and this cat and dog with Tracy and Cassie, it makes for really exciting stuff.’
Coronation Street airs these scenes from Monday 10 March at 8pm on ITV1 or stream first from 7am on ITVX.
