Coronation Street’s Dylan Wilson (Liam McCheyne) finds himself in deadly danger in prison this week, as he realises his new ‘friend’ is anything but.

Last month, Dylan was sent down over his unfortunate role in Mason Radcliffe’s (Luca Toolan) death earlier this year.

As he adjusted to live behind bars, it quickly became apparent that one of his fellow inmates – a lad named Brody (Ryan Mulvey) – had some sinister intentions towards him.

Brody has been keeping Dylan on side and by pretending to look out for him, but later this week, his true colours are revealed, placing Dylan in a dangerous situation.

On Wednesday, teacher Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard) warns Dylan to steer clear of Brody, but he fails to get the message through to the teenager.

After Dylan’s dad Sean Tully (Antony Cotton) pays him a visit, Brody later approaches Dylan and demands Sean smuggle him a burner phone or he’ll make Dylan’s life a misery.

When Sean pays a return visit, Dylan reveals how Brody tried to blackmail him, but Sean is intent on reporting him. Dylan is horrified and begs his dad to let him handle it.

Dylan then tells Brody that there’s no way his dad will smuggle in a phone, but tries to reassure his tormentor that he’s got Sean to agree not to report the incident.

However, that is not enough to satisfy Brody, and he later approaches Dylan’s room with his mates, determined to teach him a lesson…

Upon Dylan’s arrival in the secure training centre last month, Brody revealed a clue that some fans believe connects him to some other Weatherfield residents.

During a conversation about where Dylan went to school, Brody revealed how his parents had recently moved to the area – sparking suspicions he is the eldest son of Lou and Mick Michaelis (Farrel Hegarty and Joe Layton).

Coronation Street airs these scenes from Wednesday 19 March at 8pm on ITV1 or stream first from 7am on ITVX.
