Debbie found collapsed as tragic Coronation Street storyline unfolds

Debbie Webster (Sue Devaney) is set to be at the centre of a huge Coronation Street storyline over the next year, and upcoming scenes will start to see it ramp up.
Last year, Metro exclusively revealed that Debbie is set to be diagnosed with dementia, in a storyline that will ultimately lead to her exit.
Since then, viewers have started to notice Debbie show symptoms of the illness, occasionally becoming forgetful.
Next week, things are set to take a devastating turn when Debbie is left to look after Alfie, having ordered Kevin Webster (Michael Le Vell) to rest.
Unfortunately, with music blaring from Mick Michaelis’ (Joe Layton) house across the ginnel, it is impossible for them to have any peace.
Tensions are already high between Mick and Debbie, after a recent incident saw her call the electrician to the Chariot Square Hotel after a power cut.

It turned out that the power outage had been planned, with Debbie receiving an email about it, so Mick didn’t need to repair anything.
However, he explained that there was still a call out charge, but when Debbie learnt that it was £300, she was horrified and refused to pay.
Eventually, she gave him £150, though he wasn’t very happy about it.
When Ronnie Bailey (Vinta Morgan) later arrives, he is surprised to find Alfie on his own with the back door open, and heads out in search of Debbie.
He soon finds her in the ginnel, lying on the floor dazed and confused.

Will Debbie be okay?
The next day, Ronnie is furious with Mick, and ends up slashing one of his tires after warning Gemma Winter and Chesney Brown (Dolly-Rose Campbell and Sam Aston) that their new friend isn’t who they think he is.
His vandalism is witnessed by Debbie, but also caught on the van’s CCTV.
This leaves Mick furious, and he soon confronts Ronnie, demanding payment for the damage and the work he has done.
