Coronation Street serves up the emotions next week, with a big goodbye on the cards and an unexpected visitor, as confirmed in my brand new gallery of pictures.

Tracy Barlow (Kate Ford) once again decides to wave goodbye to the eponymous street, giving beau Tommy Orpington (Matt Milburn) another shot as she returns to Spain.

Is happiness finally on the cards for our Tracy? Or will she not be able to bid farewell to all her loved ones on the cobbles?

That remains to be seen but she certainly takes Steve McDonald (Simon Gregson) by surprise as she encourages him to take a chance with Cassie Plummer (Claire Sweeney).

Elsewhere, Lauren Bolton (Cait Fitton) receives a visitor in hospital that might be able to help her stop Joel Deering (Calum Lill) once and for all.

And speaking of Joel, the twisted villain is causing trouble for Carla Connor (Alison King) as he reveals that he’s commencing proceedings against her for slander, which leaves DS Swain (Vicky Myers) horrified.

Swain, meanwhile, continues to work alongside Dee-Dee Bailey (Channique Sterling-Brown) in the hopes of finding any potential evidence that she can use against Joel.

But will they succeed in their mission?
