Mason Radcliffe (Luca Toolan) finds himself sleeping rough after his return to Coronation Street next week.

The divisive character was sent back to Young Offenders earlier this month, after Betsy Swain (Sydney Martin) set him up for stealing a customer’s purse at Speed Daal.

Next week sees the truth come out, as Dylan Wilson (Liam McCheyne) pushes Betsy to come clean.

After she refuses, he tells dad Sean Tully (Antony Cotton) that Betsy framed him, which leads to Mason’s release.

But he does not receive the warmest of welcomes upon returning to Weatherfield, as Gary Windass (Mikey North) attacks him after hearing about his release from stepson Liam Connor (Charlie Wrenshall), who Mason previously bullied.

Stu Carpenter (Bill Fellows) arrives just in time and manages to pulls Gary off.

Apologising to Mason for not believing him, Stu offers his friend his job at Speed Daal back.

However, later in the week, he arrives for work sporting a black eye, sparking concern from Stu and partner Yasmeen Metcalfe (Shelley King).

Mason makes out he’s just hit his head, but it’s clear there’s more to the story.

Later that night, he sneaks back into Speed Dhaal after closing and unrolls a sleeping bag.

Will anyone find out that Mason does not have anywhere to live?
