Killer Gary strikes again and launches a ferocious attack in Coronation Street
Cobbles killer Gary Windass (Mikey North) sees red and launches a ferocious attack in Coronation Street next week, after Mason Radcliffe (Luca Toolan) is released from Young Offenders.
The troubled teen was sent back to custody earlier this month after Betsy Swain (Sydney Martin) framed him for stealing a Speed Daal customer’s purse as revenge for rejecting her.
Mason had originally been sent down after threatening Liam Connor (Charlie Wrenshall) with a knife last year, and had been released on parole.
With Liam still terrified for his tormentor, he’s horrified to hear Mason has been released again next week and texts stepdad Gary to help.
A furious Gary – who previously killed loan shark Rick Neelan (Greg Wood) –immediately charges over to confront Mason.
Liam, Betsy and Dylan Wilson (Liam McCheyne) watch on as Gary roughs Mason up and pins him against a wall.
As tempers flare, Stu Carpenter (Bill Fellows) arrives just in time and manages to pulls Gary off.

While the situation is diffused, Gary refuses to let his grudge against Mason go, and he’s further angered later in the week when he hears Stu has given him his job back at Speed Daal.
What action will Gary take next?
What no one realises, however, is that Mason has been hiding a secret since his release from Young Offenders.
When he returns to Speed Daal after closing and rolls out a sleeping bag, it becomes clear that the teen has been sleeping rough – will anyone step in to help him?
