Dolly’s character Gemma is currently in the middle of a big story that has seen her lose her brother, Paul Foreman (Peter Ash), to MND.

In recent episodes, Gemma grew upset with brother Kit Green (Jacob Roberts) when he refused to grant one of Paul’s last wishes.

Paul wanted Kit to learn the dance routine to Lets Get Ready To Rumble that he and Gemma had always done together, but Kit insisted he was too busy and didn’t want to dance.

This left Gemma devastated, as she worried how disappointed Paul would be.

The family recently gave Paul a dramatic send-off by throwing both a traditional funeral and a rave in the street.

‘When Paul came into the show six years ago, he would’ve just wanted a rave,’ actor Peter told Metro at the Inside Soap Awards. ‘After meeting Billy, the love of his life, and finding his faith, there’s obviously room for both. Why not do both? Don’t argue, do both.’
