Tim faces death in Coronation Street as he is brutally attacked and ‘taught a lesson’
A few days ago in Coronation Street, Tim Metcalfe (Joe Duttine) discovered teenager Mason Radcliffe (Luca Toolan) was homeless.
Initially, Tim and Sally (Sally Dynevor) feared they had mice when they found food spilt in the kitchen cupboards. Once they discovered a bag in their shed, however, they realised someone had been living there.
In an attempt to help out, Tim allowed Mason to sleep on the sofa. He said Sally wasn’t allowed to know, but didn’t think about the repercussions of bringing the troublesome character into his home.
Yesterday, Sally discovered her mother’s ring had gone missing. Amid the emotions surrounding the item and the discovery about Mason sleeping on her sofa, Sally assumed he was responsible.
Tim attempted to confront Mason and his brothers but once again, failed to take into consideration just how dangerous the Radcliffe family is.
In upcoming episodes, when Mason’s brothers are released without charge, Betsy Swain (Sydney Martin) tells him to lie and say it was actually Tim who grassed them up to the police.
In the week, Sally and Tim find the word ‘grass’ sprayed across the front door. Tim, feeling paranoid, assures her that he’s reported Mason’s siblings to the police.
Later, Mason and Betsy witness Logan getting into Tim’s taxi. Feeling worried, they approach Eileen Grimshaw (Sue Cleaver) and warn her that Tim is in danger.
In the cab, Logan orders Tim to park up. As time ticks by, Tim is shocked when Matty climbs in. Together, the siblings make it clear that they’re going to teach Tim a lesson, but what have they got planned?
And what is it with Tim getting himself into jeopardy while in his taxi?!
