Coronation Street confirms unexpected return as legend’s fate is ‘sealed’ in new spoiler videos
Coronation Street serves up a jam-packed week full of aftermath, as confirmed in my new spoiler videos, with the fate of a favourite left up in the air while a new romance begins to blossom.
The ITV soap didn’t disappoint with the killer reveal in the who murdered Joel Deering (Calum Lill) storyline and Max Turner’s (Paddy Bever) arrest continues to send shockwaves through the cobbles next week.
As seen in one of my videos below, Max urges David Platt (Jack P Shepherd) to accept the fact that he claimed Joel’s life but David, like the viewers at home, know that his son is innocent of the crime.
Elsewhere on the Street, Tracy Barlow (Kate Ford) stages yet another return as she makes it her mission to rid Weatherfield of Cassie Plummer (Claire Sweeney), fearing that her intentions with Ken (William Roache) aren’t all that honourable.
DS Lisa Swain (Vicky Myers), meanwhile, wakes up hungover on Carla Connor’s (Alison King) sofa and the chemistry is aplenty between the two as Lisa makes a request.
For a first look at all the above, I’ve got three brand new video clips, so let’s get stuck in.
Monday November 18
Max calls David from the prison. David is still suspicious about his confession, believing that it has Lauren ‘written all over it’, but Max reiterates that he killed Joel, claiming that the villain attempted to kill him and thus he retaliated.
In emotional scenes, he tells David to give Lily a hug from him as he hangs up the phone and walks off.
Wednesday November 20
Tracy returns to the Street on the request of Adam, who is worried about Cassie and the influence she has over Ken. Together with some assistance from Steve, the two tell Cassie that her services are no longer required but they’re interrupted by Ken, who urges Cassie to disregard anything they’ve said.
Ken, however, is unsteady on his feet, with Cassie coming to his aid, much to the dismay of Tracy.
Friday November 22
Carla returns to the flat to find Lisa just out of the shower, wearing her dressing gown. Lisa is thankful to Carla, who brings her breakfast. They share a charged moment as Lisa makes her appreciation clear.
Carla breaks their gaze as she prepares to return to the factory, asking if Lisa can see herself out. Lisa, however, asks if she can stay on for a while. Carla smiles, having no issue with such a thing, telling the detective to make herself at home.
