Leanne unleashes spiteful revenge on oblivious Nick and Toyah in Coronation Street
Leanne Battersby (Jane Danson) is set to unleash spiteful revenge on oblivious Nick Tilsley (Ben Price) and Toyah Battersby (Georgia Taylor) in upcoming Coronation Street scenes.
The soap stalwart was left heartbroken when she discovered Nick and Toyah’s affair earlier this year, and things have been tense between the trio ever since.
Next week, Leanne sets her sights on Nick and asks him to have a drink with her – but will he agree, and what are her motivations?
Later in the week, Nick comforts Leanne at Les’ will reading in front of Toyah, and later offers her a comforting hug at Les’ wake…
Elsewhere, Leanne digs out Toyah’s passport and uploads the photo page onto a website.
After replacing the passport, she later gets an email confirming that a new bank account has been set up in Toyah’s name. What is she up to?
However, that is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to Leanne’s revenge.
After Nick lies and tells Leanne that Sam Blakeman (Jude Riordan) isn’t allowed out of school for their upcoming holiday, he reveals that he plans to go alone.

But when Toyah submits her holiday dates for the Bistro, Leanne realises that they’re the same as Nick’s.
Determined to come between them, Leanne has a secret meeting with Mrs Crawshaw where she arranges for Sam to join Nick on holiday.
Could Leanne succeed in driving a wedge between Toyah and Nick, or will her attempts at revenge be unsuccessful?
The plot will come to a head on Christmas Day, with producer Kate Brooks promising an epic showdown.
‘Leanne’s a Battersby – she’s scrappy and she’s feisty, and she sees the life that she had just being taken away from her,’ the incoming boss told Metro.

‘She really wants to make them pay and is intent on getting her own revenge. It can be at the detriment of her own sanity sometimes, but she wants to make them realise what they’ve done to her.
‘Nick’s betrayal is one thing, but the betrayal of a sister is huge, and I just love that dynamic between Toyah and Leanne, I think it’s fantastic.
‘I remember really vividly them coming onto the street in peak Spice Girls era, they barrelled onto the street, little Sporty Spice and Scary Spice!
‘So tapping into how they were as Battersbys was really important, and that all comes to the forefront on Christmas Day and it doesn’t end well for anyone!’
