Coronation Street icon becomes 9th most Googled person in UK – can you guess who?
It may be 10 years since Michelle Keegan left Coronation Street, but it seems she is as popular as she has ever been.
The actress has been named one of the most Googled people in the UK this year, after the search giant published its Year in Search 2024.
The review reveals Google’s most searched-for topics, stories and people of the year.
Michelle, who shot to fame playing Tina McIntyre on the ITV soap, is officially the country’s 9th most searched-for person of 2024.
Kate Middleton was the most Googled person of the year, with the top 10 also featuring Donald Trump, Keir Starmer and Baby Reindeer star Richard Gadd.
Michelle was one of the stars of hit Netflix drama Fool Me Once, which also featured on Google’s list of the most searched-for TV shows of 2024 in the UK.
The addictive Harlen Coben mini-series landed at number two on the list, beaten only by Netflix stablemate Baby Reindeer.

The eight-episode thriller had viewers absolutely hooked when it launched on New Year’s Day, with over 37.1 million Netflix accounts tuning in across the globe, with over 238 million hours watched.
The show followed the aftermath of the brutal murder of ex-army officer Joe Burkett (Richard Armitage), who Michelle’s character Maya was married to.
2024 also saw Michelle reprise her role as Erin Croft in the sixth series of Sky sitcom Brassic.
Next year will also see the 37-year-old star appear in the second series of BBC drama Ten Pound Poms.
Michelle joined the cast of Coronation Street in 2008 and barmaid Tina quickly became one of the soap’s most popular characters.
She was killed off in dramatic fashion in 2014 when Rob Donovan (Marc Baylis) pushed off the builder’s yard balcony.
