Inside EastEnders star Heather Peace’s private home life with ‘soulmate’ wife and family of five
EastEnders’ Heather Peace has been thrilling soap fans with her storylines as of late but it’s her low-key love life that keeps her settled as her onscreen persona bathes in drama.
Known for playing Eve Unwin in the BBC soap, Heather’s character faced death by poisoning in dramatic episodes that aired this New Year.
On her wedding day to Suki Panesar (Balvinder Sopal), vengeful ex-husband Nish (Navin Chowdhry) emerged from his secret underground hideout and poured a lethal substance into her drink.
He subsequently tried to make Suki enter a suicide pact, and dragged her off the hotel balcony during an altercation with his eldest son Ravi Gulati (Aaron Thiara).
While things on set unravel, Heather’s homelife is a far cry from the tumultuous love saga she plays with during her day-to-day.
The 49-year-old star married her partner Ellie Dickinson during a civil partnership ceremony in 2014 after dating each other for two years.
They share three daughters together – Annie Mary, born in April 2015, and twins Jessie and Lola, who they welcomed in June 2017.
Deciding to keep most of her private life separate from her acting career and the spotlight it brought with it, the actress did offer a nod to her lover amid their wedding anniversary in 2022.
As she celebrated nine years with Ellie, she uploaded a collection of adorable snaps documenting their years as a couple.
Featuring a plethora of wedding pictures, she penned a heartfelt message of adoration to her partner and the mother of her children.
It read: ‘Happy 9th wedding anniversary to my dear Ellie. The love of my life. 9 years married, 12 years together, 20 years knowing you.
‘We were an awesome left wing in football and a pretty smashing team now [sic].’
Heather – who now lives in Brighton with her family – previously opened up on her social media about coming out at age 19 and what she imagined was possible for her back then.
She wrote in a caption to go with a sweet family photo: ‘Aged 19, coming out was tinged with sadness of never being able to get married and unlikely that I’d have kids.
‘It’s not for everyone I know, but for me it left me feeling sad. I could never have imagined this. My little [rainbow emoji] family. Happy #comingoutday #itgetsbetter” which she signed off with a kiss [sic].’
