Nish’s shocking final wishes revealed as unexpected EastEnders character lands his fortune
Nish Panesar (Navin Chowdhry) deals one final blow from beyond the grave in EastEnders next week, when his will reveals a shocking last request.
Just as the family thought their ordeal was over, fresh turmoil is just beginning.
Son Ravi Gulati (Aaron Thiara) brought an end to the sinister businessman’s reign of terror at New Year, when he pushed him over the edge of a balcony to his death.
Nish had escaped prison and hid away in a derelict flat on George Street, preparing to exact revenge on his ex-wife Suki (Balvinder Sopal) and her wife to be Eve Unwin (Heather Peace).
On the day of their wedding, he fled to the venue and poisoned Eve, before dragging Suki over the balcony with him.
Luckily, Nish was the only one to meet his maker that day.
The family are now navigating a new era, as they repair the relationships and dynamic that he had manipulated over the years.
In upcoming scenes, Ravi is concentrating on building his relationship with Denise Fox (Diane Parish), and trying to work around her fears about his dodgy business practices.
She’s torn between him and ex-husband Jack Branning (Scott Maslen) – though as we know, it’s the viewers who will decide – and her sister Kim (Tameka Empson) reasons that her fears are enough to help her make the right choice.
The mother of Ravi’s children, Priya (Sophie Khan Levy) confronts him about his drug dealing and insists that he must get back on the straight and narrow for the sake of the kids.
Nugget (Juhaim Rasul Choudhury) is already struggling in the wake of Nish’s death, and the last thing he needs is more upheaval.
As the Panesars gather to hear the will reading, their jaws hit the floor when they discover Bernie Taylor (Clair Norris) has been asked to attend.
The solicitors reads his final wishes, and everyone is left shocked.
