Buzzing EastEnders cast full of excitement as they leave live episode party
To conclude the show’s week of anniversary episodes, a half-hour instalment aired that was completely live.
It focused on Sonia Fowler (Natalie Cassidy) giving birth, as well as Martin Fowler’s (James Bye) death.
As the clock struck 8pm and EastEnders went off air, it meant cast and crew could relish in the joy after working incredibly hard in the live performance.
These new pictures show multiple members of the EastEnders team enjoying their post episode party.

Jessie Wallace and Adam Woodyatt aka Kat Slater and Ian Beale were seen leaving the drinks event at Elstree Studios, with over 100 fans waiting to catch a glimpse of the stars.
As a result of the large crowds, it was said Jessie had issues getting her car out of the studios, while Adam declined requests for autographs.
Ultimately though, the party was the perfect time for the team to celebrate not only the live, but an incredible week for the BBC One soap.
This week, multiple storylines in EastEnders concluded.

A few days ago, we learnt Kathy Beale (Gillian Taylforth) was the person who attacked Cindy Beale (Michelle Collins) at Christmas.
The audience vote that decided Denise Fox’s (Diane Parish) future in Albert Square concluded, with the character choosing to reunite with Jack (Scott Maslen) over Ravi (Aaron Thiara).
Following the explosion in the Queen Vic, Sonia’s crazed partner Reiss Colwell (Jonny Freeman) died when a bath fell on him.
Supported by Lauren Branning (Jacqueline Jossa) and Bianca Jackson (Patsy Palmer), Sonia gave birth to a little girl, with another audience vote result meaning she called the baby Julia.
The most heartbreaking development to come out of the anniversary episodes was Martin’s death.

After saving Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner) from a falling beam, Martin became trapped when it fell onto his legs.
The paramedics tried to help Martin, but he died from toxins flooding his body when the frame was removed.
The live instalment ended with Stacey screaming as Martin’s death was announced, leaving Walford residents outside utterly devastated.
