EastEnders star Thomas Law shares love for ‘hero’ sister after cancer diagnosis
EastEnders star Thomas Law has been sharing the love for his sister following her cancer diagnosis.
The actor, who plays Peter Beale in the BBC One soap, is also a singer and often impresses fans with his talent on Instagram.
In 2022, Thomas uploaded a cover version of Foo Fighters’ My Hero on Spotify. It has since had over 200,000 streams from people all over the world.
Recently, the actor discussed this incredible milestone, why he chose that song in particular, and who he dedicated it to.
He said: ‘My sister was sadly diagnosed with ovarian and bowel cancer, stage 4. She fought it, she battled hard and she won.
‘Everyone in our family now consider her our hero. She’s my hero. Kirsty, well done.’
Thomas returned to his role as Peter Beale last year. The actor, who has also starred in ITV’s The Bay, previously played Ian’s (Adam Woodyatt) son when he was younger, from 2006-2010.
Ben Hardy then took over the character, followed by Dayle Hudson.
Peter is in a relationship with Lauren Branning (Jacqueline Jossa). They share a son together called Louie.
Lauren has been struggling with pain management following her injuries in the crowd crush at Peggy’s back in September.
After snapping at Peter, a tearful Lauren will admit that she’s not coping with the pain and books herself a GP appointment.
