EastEnders wedding ends in tragedy as Cindy Beale takes horrifying action
It’s wedding time in EastEnders, which means only one thing – high drama! With trust issues plaguing her, Elaine Peacock (Harriet Thorpe) gets off to a bad start with a planned honey trap, utilising her arch-enemy Cindy beale (Michelle Collins).
Groom George Knight (Colin Salmon) is staggered to find out the truth of the plot and it throws the wedding into jeopardy.
But Cindy has other secrets to juggle, and when her affair with Junior (Micah Balfour) is at risk of being outed, she takes drastic action that has very serious consequences indeed.
Meanwhile, Lauren Branning (Jacqueline Jossa) continues to seriously struggle and when she opens up to Penny (Kitty Castledine) about her pregnancy, they pledge to keep it a secret.
But for how long can Lauren juggle her demons?
And elsewhere, things remain up in the air for Martin Fowler (James Bye) and Ruby Allen (Louisa Lytton) as they fight to manage their difficult situation.
Monday November 25
It’s the day before Elaine and George’s wedding, and Johnny and The Knights eagerly prepare The Vic for a day of celebrations.
Elaine goes to see Cindy at No.45 where she pleads with her to see out a plan – Elaine wants Cindy to set up a honey trap to see if George can be swayed and Cindy eventually accepts.
At Junior’s, it’s not long before Cindy and George start taking a trip down memory lane, and Cindy lunges for a kiss.

Wanting to reclaim her power, Cindy reveals all about Elaine’s plan, as disbelieving George heads back to The Vic to seek answers from Elaine.
Lauren struggles and is short with Peter in the café. Later, the pair argue, but Penny intervenes and takes Lauren back to No.27 where she reveals all about her pregnancy and Penny agrees to keep Lauren’s plight a secret.
Kim and Denise convince Denzel to ask Ravi for a job, but he humiliates him in the café. After learning about the incident, Kim demands answers from Ravi and he soon relents and offers Denzel a job.
Martin offers to take the reins at the hospital whilst Ruby heads back to Walford to freshen up. Ruby heads to the café where she bumps into Stacey. Later, at No.31, Stacey and Martin argue over how he’s approaching his situation with Ruby.
Tuesday November 26
It’s the day of George and Elaine’s wedding, and both families rally around the pair in light of recent events, but it’s unclear whether they have said enough to make the pair say ‘I do’ once at the altar.
As Junior leaves, Kojo spots him with Cindy. Desperate to keep their secret, Cindy follows him through the Square, but things get tense as she tries to convince him to keep quiet leading to a struggle with serious consequences…
It’s tense between Peter and Lauren as she continues to conceal the true extent of her struggles from him and blames her pain on morning sickness.
Peter later puts his foot in it at McKlunky’s and Lauren heads to the café where she comforts Amy who is also struggling. The pair head to No.27 for a movie night.
Wednesday November 27
Cindy cowers in fear as Lauren arrives and sees what’s happened to Kojo, before calling the emergency services. Cindy protests her innocence.
Meanwhile, In The Vic, Peter swallows his pride and asks Junior for his job back, which he accepts. Across the Square, Kojo is taken to hospital before Cindy and Lauren head to The Vic to alert George.
The Knight family rush to the hospital as tensions run high between them. At No.45, Cindy continues to worry about Kojo, and later lies to Ian about her whereabouts, much to Lauren’s horror.
Later, Lauren tells Cindy she is on to her, and vows she will make it her mission to find out what Cindy is hiding…
Linda, Kim and Kathy get into the party spirit at The Vic as they encourage Denise to let loose. The group try to wind Denise up about Jack and Ravi, but she rebuffs them although it’s clear she has feelings for both.
Jack is jealous when he later sees Denise and Ravi talking. Priya tries to make a move of Jack, much to Denise’s horror, but things don’t go to plan.
Later, a drunk Kathy heads to the café, but she soon gets into cross words with Jean over Harvey, and Jean asks Kathy to stay out of her relationship.
Martin, Harvey, Stacey and Jean head to Walford East for a family meal, but Martin is distracted. Stacey tells Martin he’s making a mistake and heads back to No.31 where she’s greeted by an emotional Ruby.
Jean encourages Martin to continue his fight after sharing some financial news, but it’s not long before she and Harvey come to blows when he questions the legitimacy of her financial advisors.
Thursday November 28
Cindy continues to panic about her actions and avoids calls from Lauren and Junior. Lauren and Peter continue to argue, and he starts to grow suspicious when Lauren is reluctant to take Louie to school.
Lauren accosts Cindy in the Square, but Cindy continues to protest her innocence. Later, Cindy reluctantly visits the hospital to see Junior.
Peter and Anna share a heart-to-heart in the café where he reveals his concerns about Lauren. Anna gives Peter food for thought, and he later confronts Lauren at No.45 to ask if she is drinking.
Elsewhere, Kim tires to play matchmaker between Ravi and Denise in The Vic. Nicola Mitchell tries to get acquainted with the residents of Walford and makes a point of introducing herself to Ravi following his previous behaviour with Barney.
Jean and Harvey continue to argue as she shuts him out of her financial decision making.
Later, Jean faces similar questions from Kathy, and the pair come to blows as Kathy encourages her to make sure her pension advisors are legit.
