Does Kojo die in EastEnders?

In Monday’s episode,  Cindy discovers that Kojo is being woken from his coma and rushes to the hospital to see him and find out what he remembers.

Will Cindy be caught in EastEnders?

Lauren Branning (Jacqueline Jossa) has already caught Cindy out after she stumbled across Kojo in Wednesday’s episode.

As he lay unconscious, Cindy cowered in fear and made up a false story about how Kojo was chasing her, but wouldn’t give details of how she found herself to be alone with him.

Lauren instantly knew that Cindy was lying, and as the pair argued about telling the truth, a bottle of liquid morphine fell out of her bag.

With Lauren battling an addiction to painkillers, the two women suddenly became equal with each other’s secrets and wrestled with how to move forward.

Will Lauren be forced into a confession, or will Kojo remember their altercation when he wakes up?

Teasing this, Colin Salmon, who plays George Knight, told Radio Times: ‘[Kojo] only speaks the truth, and in EastEnders that is a problem! That’s why he’s in hospital and is about to have a little lesson in subterfuge and lies and fear.

‘It’s quite interesting to watch it happen.’

Whatever happens, it seems the truth about Cindy’s affair with Junior is safe for a few more weeks yet, it has been confirmed all will be revealed on Christmas Day.

As fans will remember, last month Cindy confessed all about her affair with Junior and her love for ex-husband George Knight (Colin Salmon) to her former lover David Wicks (Michael French).

Little did either of them know, Freddie Slater’s (Bobby Brazier) bird-recording dictaphone had captured their entire conversation on tape.

It seems her confession will be played to the whole of the Beale and Knight clans as they gather for Christmas, in scenes that hark back to the famous ‘Sharongate’ episode of 1994.

A synopsis teasing the events of Christmas reveals: ‘Secrets and lies are set to throw a wrecking ball into the Beale family festivities this year as the shocking truth about Cindy is revealed in spectacular fashion on Christmas Day.

‘The incriminating evidence captured on tape will expose Cindy’s true love for ex-husband George and her scandalous affair with his son, Junior. Cindy has nowhere to hide as all hell breaks loose in the Beale and Knight families, with fury and accusations flying on all sides.’

Bring on Christmas Day, we say!
