EastEnders ‘confirms’ how Cindy will be exposed at Christmas – and it’s explosive
Cindy Beale’s (Michelle Collins) affair with Junior Knight (Micah Balfour) is on the brink of exposure in EastEnders – and neither of them realise.
We’re edging ever closer to a spectacular Christmas Day reveal, that will see the Beale and the Knight families torn apart by the news that the pair have been engaging in a steamy fling throughout the last year.
The affair began when Cindy plotted to win back her ex-husband George Knight (Colin Salmon), despite being engaged to first husband Ian Beale (Adam Woodyatt).
Her efforts proving unsuccessful, she then went onto bed her former step-son Junior, with the two being caught by his uncle Kojo (Dayo Koleosho) earlier this month.
Terrified by what he saw, he ran off and climbed the emergency exit staircase at the community centre, with Cindy chasing after him.
A struggle broke out and he fell to the ground, being placed in an induced coma to aid recovery. Upon waking up, she dealt a menacing threat.
She warned that unless he keep it a secret, his brother George (Colin Salmon) would send him home to Ghana.
In tonight’s episode, Cindy was forced to come clean to Junior about what Kojo saw, and how she was involved in the altercation. She said she was concerned he would ends things if he knew the truth.
He asked her whether he threatened his uncle, and she denied any wrongdoing.
In the hospital, Junior tried to breakthrough to Kojo, who had stayed suspiciously quiet since he woke up.
He admitted what he’d seen, and also what Cindy told him about being sent home. Taken aback, Junior admitted that his secret relationship was ‘special’, but guilt-tripped him into not saying anything.
Later, in The Queen Vic, Anna Knight (Molly Rainford) and Freddie Slater (Bobby Brazier) were flogging CDs of their birdsong recordings.
We know that Freddie accidentally recorded a conversation between Cindy and ex-flame David Wicks (Michael French), where she confessed every sordid detail of her love for Junior and George.
