In true EastEnders style, the BBC soap are serving up another dramatic Christmas. As confirmed in my new spoiler pictures, it’ll be a memorable yuletide for Cindy Beale (Michelle Collins) as her affair is exposed.
To make matters worse, she and Junior Knight (Micah Balfour) will be sat around the table in The Queen Vic – alongside both of their families – when the fling is revealed.
Initially, the residents are excited for the day ahead, though there is already tension bubbling beneath the surface between Lauren Branning (Jacqueline Jossa) and Peter Beale (Thomas Law) following the fire in their flat.
There’s one thing for sure, this will be a day that nobody will forget in a hurry!
On Christmas Eve, Yolande Trueman (Angela Wynter) bravely meets up with the other survivors of Pastor Clayton’s (Howard Saddler) abuse on the day of his funeral.
The truly emotional scenes will see her reconnect with her faith affair a heartbreaking year.
Elsewhere, Denise Fox (Diane Parish) is torn between two fellas.
After being gifted a beautiful piece of jewellery from ex-husband Jack Branning (Scott Maslen), she finds herself agreeing to a lowkey drink with old flame Ravi Gulati (Aaron Thiara).
Who will she choose?
Kim Fox (Tameka Empson) is on hand for some comic relief throughout the week, as her choir concert gets underway in the pub.
