Charity and Cain Dingle’s shocking discovery in Belle’s home turns their blood cold in Emmerdale
Charity and Cain Dingle (Emma Atkins and Jeff Hordley) have grown concerned for Belle Dingle’s (Eden Taylor-Draper) wellbeing in recent Emmerdale scenes, after failing to get in contact with her.
Belle recently left for Wales with abusive husband Tom King (James Chase), but their sudden exit threw up questions for Belle’s relatives.
In Tuesday’s (July 23) episode, Charity found a woman knocking on Belle’s door and wasted no time in getting to the bottom of who she was.
Eventually, the woman admitted that she was Belle’s care co-ordinator from the community mental health team, and she was trying to get in contact with her after a missed appointment.
This immediately set alarm bells ringing for Charity, and she soon decided to break into the house to investigate, with Cain on hand to help.
Inside, they were shocked by the amount of surveillance cameras dotted around, but it immediately struck them as strange that none of them were turned on, despite the fact they were away from the house.
After some more digging, they finally found Belle’s phone hidden in a drawer, which left Charity with a sour taste in her mouth.

Having tracked down the address of where Tom and Belle were staying in Wales, Charity insisted that they should go after them, though Cain wasn’t so sure.
Charity argued that it was better for them to be wrong about their suspicions and have to have an awkward conversation about why they were there, than be right and ignore the signs.
Convinced, Cain agreed to join Charity as they headed to the address – and what they found there left them horrified.
The whole place had been completely trashed, but Charity was quick to find one of Belle’s jumpers in the living room.
As Cain turned on the light, Charity noticed blood on the door, which left her terrified.
As they wondered what possibly could have happened, Cain declared that Tom was a dead man.
Will they get to Belle before it’s too late, and is Tom set to face Cain’s wrath?
