Devastating admission as Liam Cavanagh fears child killer Ella Forster will harm their baby in Emmerdale
Liam Cavanagh (Jonny McPherson) was left horrified in recent Emmerdale scenes when he learnt that Ella Forster (Paula Lane) was pregnant with his baby.
Ella and Liam had the beginnings of a beautiful relationship when Ella began working at the GP surgery, but the revelation of her dark childhood secret left him totally disgusted.
After learning that Ella had killed her best friend at just 11-years-old, Liam pushed her away, with the rest of the villagers following suit.
Aware that her presence wasn’t wanted, Ella fled the Emmerdale village, only to return weeks later, pregnant.
Liam was totally thrown by the news, and refused to discuss it with her, leaving her devastated.
However, after some encouragement from his friends, Liam finally agreed to talk to her, but he wasn’t about to say what she wanted to hear.
He insisted that he didn’t want to be around her after what she’d done, because of what he’d been through with daughter Leanna’s death.

When Ella retorted that he didn’t have to be around her, just their baby, Liam argued that he didn’t want another child, and that it would be best for them to look at other options.
Liam was quick to ask if Ella could guarantee the safety of their baby after what she’d done, leaving her horrified.
Ella argued her case, pointing out that she has never laid a finger on anyone else and that she was constantly being judged.
Viewers will know that Ella killed her friend because she’d told her they couldn’t be friends anymore. Prior to this, Ella had formed a close bond with her mum, and was terrified of losing that, having been abused by her own parents growing up.
When Ella asked if he truly believed she didn’t deserve a chance at happiness after what she’d been through, she was left devastated when Liam said she didn’t.
With Liam clearly not wanting to have a baby, what will Ella do?
