Emmerdale fans ‘solve’ who burned down Caleb’s business – and it’s a familiar face
Emmerdale viewers are convinced they know who's behind the fire at Caleb and Ruby Milligan's business after they learned their business had been set alight in dramatic scenes
Emmerdale fans are speculating that Kim Tate is behind the fire at Caleb Miligan’s business.
In Tuesday’s episode (July 30), Caleb and Ruby returned from their Bali holiday to discover there had been a blaze at his workplace. The police were soon knocking on Caleb’s door, suspecting arson due to the fact he’d recently upped his insurance premiums, casting suspicion his way.
Meanwhile, Kim has been on a mission to uncover who’s scheming against her after finding out Rose Jackson was attempting to sabotage her life. However, she’s certain Rose isn’t the mastermind of this plot.
Kim started to suspect her old adversary Caleb might be the one plotting against her, leading some fans to wonder if she could have set his business alight.

At The Woolpack, Ruby accused Kim Tate, but Caleb dismissed her suspicions, reports the Express. “Nah, she might be a vengeful witch, but our beef’s ancient history. It would make no sense”, he told his wife. Yet, shortly after, Kim approached Caleb and made a joke about the fire.
“Is that smoke I can smell on you”, she quipped, to which Caleb retorted that he was awaiting a hefty insurance payout. However, Emmerdale viewers believe Kim may be playing a double game and she could indeed be the arsonist.

One fan speculated on X, saying: “I know Kim’s behind the arson. But I don’t think she would’ve acted on a hunch. I really want her to sort out Ruby and Rose #Emmerdale.”
Another viewer was quick to point fingers, exclaiming: “#Emmerdale that fire has Kim written on it”, whilst a third chimed in with: “So Kim has burnt his business down ? ! ! #emmerdale.”
