This is the moment Emmerdale’s John Sugden (Oliver Farnworth) is caught out trying to clear up ‘evidence’ of boyfriend Aaron Dingle’s (Danny Miller) role in Anthony Fox’s (Nicholas Day) murder.
As fans of the ITV soap know, several characters are currently in the frame after abuser Anthony was found dead last week.
Prior to his death, Aaron had beaten up Anthony having found out he’d abused daughter Ruby Fox-Miligan (Beth Cordingly) as a child.
Aaron has subsequently believed his actions made him guilty of killing him, with John helping Aaron get rid of the body.
Next week, Aaron and John try to make it look like Anthony has come back and collected his things before leaving, as the pair then stripping down his car.
John reassures Aaron there’s no evidence of Anthony’s murder left at the depot, but on Tuesday he heads back there pretending to spearhead a health and safety initiative.
He soon spots Anthony’s tooth on the floor and does his best to hide his unease and not draw attention to it.
As you can see in the spoiler video above, he looks for an opportune moment to retrieve it when Billy Fletcher (Jay Kontzle) and Kerry Wyatt’s (Laura Norton) are out of sight.
However, his plan is thwarted by the sudden appearance of an accusatory Caleb Miligan (William Ash).
How will John talk himself out of it?
