Moira Dingle (Natalie J Robb) is still searching for revenge on Samson Dingle (Sam Hall) in Emmerdale.

Following Matty Barton’s (Ash Palmisciano) arrest earlier this year, Moira spiralled during her attempt at forcing Samson to tell the truth. While at The Hide, Josh (Osian Morgan) pushed Samson into Matty which resulted in him accidentally getting stabbed.

However, in the aftermath, Josh and Samson lied to the police about their involvement, resulting in Matty going behind bars and appearing as a guilty man.

Poor Moira then grew absolutely desperate to force the truth out of Samson. She was terrified her son would end up getting attacked if other inmates found out he’s transgender, and believed she could force Samson to be honest and save Matty.

It was actually Lydia (Karen Blick) who got Samson to confess the truth after she found out Matty had orchestrated an attack on himself while inside.

Now though, despite the fact Samson is facing the consequences, Moira still wants to do her bit.

When Samson is confronted by Josh, he finally finds the bravery to stand up to him. However, moments later, Sam (James Hooton) and Lydia are horrified when their son gets arrested for assaulting Josh – which will only make things worse where time behind bars is concerned.

Moira watches on feeling satisfied and later, Cain (Jeff Hordley) can’t help but wonder if she was involved.

The next day, Cain struggles to believe Moira wasn’t the one who grassed Samson up – but was she responsible?

Whether she was or not will have to wait, as the Woolpack then falls silence thanks to the arrival of Lydia, who enters with news from court after Samson’s plea hearing.

Are we saying goodbye to him soon?
