Amelia Spencer (Daisy Campbell) is feeling worried in Emmerdale next week as she waits for information surrounding Samson Dingle’s (Sam Hall) plea hearing.

Amelia has relied on the support from her friends and distant family over the past year after dad Dan (Liam Fox) went to prison. Despite the struggles, Amelia is doing relatively well for her and young Esther, who is also Samson’s daughter.

Samson is facing time behind bars after he revealed the truth about being stabbed by Matty (Ash Palmsiciano). After the ordeal, Josh (Osian Morgan) told Samson to lie so they didn’t go to prison. Samson followed Josh’s orders and watched as an innocent Matty was taken from the village and put in prison.

Samson confessed the truth after discovering Matty had orchestrated an attack on himself while behind bars. Now though, he must face the consequences.

Coming up, Moira (Natalie J Robb) struggles to hide her contempt for Samson and is still in search of revenge.

Meanwhile, Samson finally finds the bravery to stand up to Josh, but Sam (James Hooton) and Lydia (Karen Blick) are horrified when their son later gets arrested for assaulting the teen.

The next day, Cain (Jeff Hordley) wonders if Moira was involved in getting Samson arrested, and can’t help wonder if she grassed him up.

In the Woolpack, Amelia is feeling anxious as she waits for news about Samson’s hearing. She is worried about the repercussions for Esther, who will have her biological father locked up.

Moments later, Lydia arrives – she has news from court.

But what will it be?
