Emmerdale cast open up on terrifying scenes set to air next week
It’s a big week ahead on Emmerdale next week, in which multiple characters could be facing death as disaster strikes. The cast have now spoken out on the “terrifying scenes” set to air next week, as Valentine’s goes completely wrong.
The night starts off swimmingly, as there’s a night out up for grabs with a limo in a raffle. Liam is keen to win, as he wants to propose to partner Chas Dingle. He’s left gutted however, when he doesn’t secure the win as Kerry turns her win into a girls night including Chas, leaving Liam annoyed.
All is well and good again when he manages to get his hands on another vehicle for the same evening. He covers his plan with a boys outing but they’re unaware of the disasters that lie ahead. As a row breaks out in one of the limos, drivers Charity Dingle and Caleb Miligan are both distracted and forced to swerve in unrelated incidents.
The girls’ Galentines Day goes tragically wrong
In a harrowing fast forward, fans will see an unknown hand desperately pounding on the ice from the depths of the water. As Liam’s big plans turn into ultimate chaos what will the future of the village and the residents look like?
Ahead of the episode, the cast have teased what fans can expect on the devastating night. Speaking on the big stunt, Jonny Mcpherson who plays Liam said: “I hope the audience will be enthralled by this. This is the first time I’ve done something of this magnitude stunt wise. Our DOP (Director of Photography) Chris Ramage told me that a lot of the shots are the best he’s seen in his 30 years here at Emmerdale.” Teasing it in three words, he said: “Thrilling. Icy, Terrifying.”
The boys night out starts with Cain, Caleb, Bear and Paddy, Mackenzie, Matty and Sam and Liam ready to go off. On the other hand, the in the girls limos includes Chas, Kerry, Leyla, Suzy, Amy, Vanessa, Charity and Mandy but Mandy has to run off and sort an issue before they set off. With all of them in danger how will it end?

Teasing the ending, Natalie Ann Jamieson who plays Amy said: “It’s a very serious end to the episode and it has repercussions and certain repercussions for people.”
Adding to this, Ash Palmisciano who plays Matty said: “All I’m going to say is there’s so many twists and you will not believe where this night ends up. The first episode ends on this massive cliff hanger, when we all read it we were so excited because it ends on such a cliff hanger you’re not very sure the outcome into the next episode so it is very exciting.” He then went on to call the cliff-hanger “one of the best we’ve had in a long time.”
