Beth Cordingly has been very busy on set at Emmerdale, but she seemed in good spirits after a long but ‘fun’ day.
The Ruby Fox-Miligan actress is currently in the middle of a huge storyline which has seen her character murder her father, Anthony Fox.
In emotional scenes, it was revealed that Anthony had sexually abused Ruby growing up, and that her daughter Steph Miligan (Georgia Jay) was also his.
After finding Anthony battered on the floor of the depot, Ruby suffocated him, and has been working with Caleb Miligan (William Ash), Aaron Dingle (Danny Miller), John Sugden (Oliver Farnworth) and Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter) to keep his death hidden.
Taking to social media, actress Beth shared a selfie from her train journey home, after a long day of filming.
‘Hello 12 hour day with rather a lot of words to get out of my mouth on 2.5h sleep…’ She wrote on Instagram, adding: ‘YOU WERE ACTUALLY A LOT OF FUN. Hooray. And you are wrapped.’
Fans were quick to rush to the comments to share their love for Beth, with Marian saying: ‘Brilliant acting Beth, such a joy watching u play Ruby.’
‘I don’t know where you get your stamina from Beth, you amaze me, no matter what you are always word perfect, your brilliant and so lovely,’ Sandra said.
‘I don’t get how you look THIS GOOD after all that!’ Lauren added.
Recently, Beth’s real-life partner and former Emmerdale star Ian Kelsey heaped praise on the actress amid her emotional storyline.
‘She’s doing such great work, and it’s a deep, dark storyline’, he told Inside Soap.
‘She’s had to step up to the plate and her workload has been huge but she’s doing a brilliant job. I’m so proud of her.’
Ian starred as Dave Glover in the ITV soap between 1994 and 1996. The character married Kathy Bates (Malandra Burrows) and had an affair with Kim Tate (Claire King).
