Aaron mystery sparked by intriguing phone call in EmmerdaleAaron mystery sparked by intriguing phone call in Emmerdale
Victoria Sugden (Isabel Hodgins) has a lot on her mind in upcoming Emmerdale episodes when she discovers that Eric Pollard (Chris Chittell) was the person behind her being sacked from the Hide.
She turns to Aaron Dingle (Danny Miller) for support but he, it seems, has got stuff of his own going on.
Eric engineered Victoria’s sacking after she broke up with his grandson Jacob Gallagher (Joe-Warren Plant) and broke his heart. In revenge, Eric blackmailed Jai Sharma (Chris Bisson) into getting rid of Victoria from the Hide, which he did by pretending she’d got broken glass in customers’ food.
Brenda Walker (Lesley Dunlop) is gradually finding out about Eric’s involvement in Jai taking revenge on Amit (Anil Goutam) for killing Rishi (Bhasker Patel), and soon enough she discovers what happened with Victoria. She’s angry and orders him to make things right with Victoria.
He offers her a job in the shop and she gratefully accepts, but Brenda is livid that Pollard is basking in her gratitude and hasn’t come clean about being the reason she was unemployed in the first place.
Finally he comes clean and Victoria is understandably furious as she’s been finding it hard to make ends meet since being unemployed. She talks to Aaron, hoping he’ll be a sounding board for her to vent her rage, but he’s not really listening – instead he’s preoccupied with something on his phone and he’s not paying attention.
What’s so interesting on his phone?
Life is about to get interesting for both Victoria and Aaron when a new character arrives in the village. John Sugden (Oliver Farnworth) will appear soon, and it’s not long before Eric Pollard confirms that John could be Victoria’s half brother.
For Aaron, John’s arrival will have huge significance if he does turn out to be Victoria’s half brother, because this will also mean that he’s the brother of Aaron’s ex, Robert Sugden (Ryan Hawley). Robert is currently in jail after attacking Lee Posner, who raped Victoria.
Emmerdale bosses have confirmed that John will ‘catch the eye of an unsuspecting resident,’ so it could well be Aaron. Danny Miller appeared to confirm that Aaron could be the one when he said at the Radio Times Awards,
‘There’s a Sugden coming in. With the history that Aaron has with Robert, it’ll be interesting to see what happens with them. It’ll be an interesting few months for sure.’
