Aaron’s Emmerdale exit ‘confirmed’ in early ITVX release twist
The following article contains spoilers from an episode of Emmerdale that hasn’t aired on ITV yet, but can be viewed on ITVX.
Caleb Miligan (William Ash) issued a warning to Aaron Dingle (Danny Miller) in tonight’s episode of Emmerdale in the aftermath of Anthony Fox’s (Nicholas Day) murder.
Anthony was killed by his daughter Ruby Fox-Miligan (Beth Cordingly), but Aaron spent almost a week believing he was responsible.
When Aaron learnt the truth from Caleb and Ruby, he agreed – along with John (Oliver Farnworth) and Chas (Lucy Pargeter) – to keep the murder a secret to protect everyone involved and also Steph (Georgia Jay), who doesn’t know Anthony sexually abused her mum.
Unfortunately, Caleb’s loyalty to his family has gone out of the window after discovering brother Cain (Jeff Hordley) slept with Ruby.
His revenge began tonight when a police officer arrived and arrested Cain in connection with Anthony’s disappearance.
As he was taken to the station, Caleb rushed to comfort Ruby, who started to panic over their secret being exposed.
While Cain was being questioned, Caleb continued his efforts to frame his sibling by returning to the garage and planting Anthony’s missing tooth in the boot of Cain’s car. He knew that eventually, the police would return and search the premises.
The interview was suspended so the detective in charge could go back to the village. As night fell, Caleb, Moira (Natalie J Robb) and Mack (Lawrence Robb) watched as officers attempted to find evidence that connected Cain to Anthony.

As time ticked on, Caleb was growing frustrated at the lack of developments with the police. Just as Ruby left the house to go into town, Aaron entered.
Caleb then realised Aaron had been hot on his tail this entire time. He pulled out Anthony’s tooth from his pocket, and demanded answers as to what he was up to.
He failed to tell Aaron about Cain and Ruby’s betrayal, but instead commented on how he thinks ‘loyalty is for losers’.
Caleb going against the group’s plan to stick together prompted Aaron to suggest reporting Ruby to the police. Always desperate to protect his beloved, Caleb then opened his laptop and told Aaron he could easily show the police CCTV footage of him, if he was to tell them about Ruby.
The video of Aaron saw him leave Mill Cottage with a bag of Anthony’s belongings. Caleb then confirmed he has another clip of him in Anthony’s car.
Aaron knew Caleb’s threat wasn’t an empty one. He backed away, but will that mark the end of the matter?
Framing someone for Anthony’s murder will be the last thing on Caleb and Cain’s mind come the end of the week, as they will be involved in a limo crash along with a number of other residents.
Will they both survive?
