Emmerdale fans reckon they’ve figured out the grim fate of Leyla Harding, and it’s not the impending limo disaster.
Leyla, portrayed by Roxy Shahidi, first graced the Dales in 2008 and has since been embroiled in a slew of dramatic storylines and comedic performances. From drug misuse to scandalous love affairs, her stint in the renowned village has been anything but dull.
The character was also notably shot by murderer Meena Jutla, played by Paige Sandhu. However, in October last year, reports surfaced that Leyla would meet her end in a gripping exit plot set to stun viewers.
Next week on Emmerdale, a shocking stunt is due to air when two limos packed with 17 villagers depart the village for a night of revelry. The situation takes a fatal twist when the vehicles collide.

The women’s limo carries residents such as Leya, Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter), Mandy Dingle (Lisa Riley) and Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins). Meanwhile, the men’s limo houses characters like Caleb Miligan (William Ash) Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) and Paddy Kirk (Dominic Brunt).
Distractions in both cars lead to them veering off the road, reports Leicestershire Live. In a dramatic sequence, one of the limos crashes into a frozen lake, leaving its passengers battling for survival.

In a chilling twist on Emmerdale, one villager finds themselves trapped beneath the ice, leaving fans biting their nails over who will survive. Meanwhile, speculation is rife that Leyla could meet her end not from the crash but from a darker fate.
This week’s episodes saw Leyla shocked to discover a suspicious white powder in her son Jacob’s bag, sparking fears he’s following in her troubled footsteps.

Now, viewers are piecing together a grim theory: Leyla might succumb to her past demons with a fatal overdose.
On an Emmerdale fan page, the theories are flying, with one fan posting, “Is Leyla going to relapse? ” Another added fuel to the fire, saying, “What if Leyla relapses and has an overdose? ” Echoing the sentiment, a third concurred, “I thought that as well. She said she’s been lonely recently so she could turn back to drugs.”
