Emmerdale Nate Robinson star breaks silence amid shock death twist

Jurell Carter has broken his silence amid rumours Nate Robinson’s body is at the bottom of the Emmerdale lake.

Nate was played by Jurell in the hit ITV soap until his shock exit from the Dales. He decided to move away to Shetland after severing ties with his father Cain and his ex Tracy, when the disbelieved him over Caleb.

In shock scenes, Nate decided to bid goodbye to the village, with his family worried about him but when Tracy received a text to say he’d be back in touch when the time was right, any suspicions seemed to go.

However, last night, as Amy plunged down into the icy water of the lake – it was revealed a body was there too, with fans convinced it was Nate’s body after they spotted similarities between the final outfit Nate wore and a bracelet on the dead man’s wrist.

At the time of his exit, he said: “So after 5 years, my time at Emmerdale has come to an end. I always say I don’t know where the time has gone but I genuinely don’t have a clue. I want to thank every single person who has supported me, rooted for me, watched me develop and grow over these past 5 years, I truly appreciate you.

“It’s been a massive chapter of my life and will always hold a special place in my heart. Emmerdale is a big family, from the minute I walked in the building on my first day I was made to feel welcome and wanted and I’ve been truly blessed to be a part of it. Making the choice to leave a place that felt like home, a place I was constantly learning, excited to be and where I was working alongside some beautiful and very talented people was never going to be easy.”

He added: “Being a part of a show that’s always been a family favourite, my mum’s, my late grandmother’s (Mamma’s), a show that became my dad’s favourite and making them all so proud, will honestly forever mean everything to me. So from the bottom of my heart, I’m forever grateful and I thank you all. God bless @emmerdale.”

Now Jurell has broken his silence on social media following the revelation, posting a screenshot of a song called Go! by Common. He also shared a snap of himself, captioning it: “A weird job but I wouldn’t have it any other way.”

It remains to be seen whether it is Nate’s body in the lake – or if someone else might have met a watery demise.
