The true culprit of the deadly Emmerdale crash confirmed – and it’s not Charity
Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins) may be blaming herself for the car crash that killed three villagers – Suzy, Leyla and Amy – but it transpires that there is someone else far, far more responsible.
Charity swerved the limo to avoid son Noah (Jack Downham), who had inexplicably stumbled into the road and into the path of the car.
The car was plunged into a frozen lake, with many not making it out alive. Determined to find Noah, Charity was first out and straight into the woods to find him.
When she did, he was collapsed and out cold and, in hospital, she feared that it was touch and go.
Refusing to entertain the idea that her son had taken drugs, Charity discovered from Sarah (Katie Hill) that Jacob’s mate could be responsible for Noah’s condition.

Doctors later confirmed that the youngster had been spiked and Charity was now on the warpath – but it soon became clear she has the wrong guy.
An edgy Joe Tate (Ned Porteous) was hanging about in the room, trying to coax out of Noah what he remembers.
His look was hard and shifty and is was evident that he knows what happened to his brother – and is hoping his mind is too foggy to recall.
Woozy Noah had some blurry flashbacks of himself in hospital, a needle and a silhouette of someone who seemed distinctly like Joe.

But what are Joe’s sinister plans for him – it seems like Noah and Charity should be extremely concerned.
What Joe’s involvement means also is that he is therefore indirectly responsible for the crash.
Had he not initiated Noah’s drugging, he’d never have been in the path of the car which was the catalyst for the tragedy.
As for whether he feels any remorse is another matter entirely!
But will Noah and Charity cotton on to his scheming?
